Core strength isn’t just about six pack abs. A strong core helps you to be more controlled and balanced throughout your asana practice. It helps to protect your lower back in back bends. It aids in your arm balances and inversions. It helps your posture. It allows for better breathing. Developing physical core strength also promotes connecting to your core values and personal power.
Join Kristi for an expanded version of her weekly Yoga for Core Strength classes that will focus on creating a strong, stable core in a safe, supportive environment. You will experience a fiery core workout, learn ways to modify core work exercises, challenge yourself, and leave feeling accomplished, strong, and amazing. You will also leave with some great ideas for core exercises to add in to your home practice.

Kristi has been practicing yoga her entire adult life and strongly believes in the power of yoga to make real changes in your body, your heart, and your life. Her passion for yoga led her to complete teacher training at Yoga Yoga in 2016 and to mentor with senior Vinyasa teachers at Yoga Yoga, which prepared her for teaching right after graduating. As a runner and general exercise enthusiast, Kristi knows how to use yoga to complement a strong workout routine. Yoga can help you gain strength, improve flexibility, develop mental endurance, and aid in rest and recovery.
Kristi teaches powerful flow classes that build strength, increase flexibility, and bring calmness to mind and body. She loves inversions and arm balances and encourages all students to embrace a sense of adventure and fun when adding advanced postures like these into their practice. Her classes always end with a nourishing floor sequence and close in seated meditation. Expect to flow, sweat, have fun, and leave class feeling amazing.
