FAMILY YOGA AUSTIN
The Family Yoga program is designed to help expectant mothers develop or continue a safe yoga practice and aid new mothers in safely recovering from childbirth. The program also allows newborns to experience their first yoga class and young children to continue to grow in their practice. Family Yoga instructors are highly trained and bring their knowledge of different yoga traditions – including Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow and Kundalini – to guide their educational and safe instruction of Prenatal, Posnatal and Children’s yoga classes.
YOGA FOR CRAWLERS AND TODDLERS
Once your baby is on the move, you can keep your yoga practice going with our new Crawlers and Toddlers class. This class is geared for mamas and childcare providers who want to continue their yoga practice with little ones in tow. This 60 minute class is appropriate for all levels. Moms practice yoga with breaks of songs and movement for the babies incorporated throughout.
Postnatal Classes classes are yoga classes that allow mothers to practice yoga in a supportive, community environment. Expect to gradually build strength back up in your body as you progress. Babies and toddlers are often incorporated into the practice through interactive exercises and also stories and songs.
Children’s Yoga Classes are open to 5-11 year olds. Fun, and designed to meet the interests of each child attending classes, we incorporate games, songs, asanas, storytelling along with age appropriate yogic philosophy into each class. Children learn strength, balance, and focus in a fun and supportive environment. Older children will be given small responsibilities and opportunity to help in the class room.
