Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin. She is an avid gardener, who enjoys taking in the scenery while hiking and looking at plants. Emily has been practicing Yoga since 2002 and teaching Yoga since 2007. She received both her 200 and 500 Hour Hatha Teacher Training from Yoga Yoga.
Emily’s teachings draw from studying alignment bases poses, breath work, meditation, philosophy, and Sanskrit. When you practice with Emily you can expect to explore optimal alignment and gain deeper understanding of the traditional teachings of the Krishnamacharya Lineage. Continuously a student herself, Emily is always furthering her studies in Yoga, Ayurveda, and Anatomy. She is currently a resident in the Yoga Therapy Program at Yoga Yoga. Emily draws inspiration from trainings in Pranayama, Meditation, Ashtanga, Anusara, Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga.
