about your teacher
Ashley and Nick
Ashley discovered Yin yoga in 2012 and has been passionate about the practice ever since. Yin Yoga is a slower, quieter practice that focuses on tractioning the joints and connective tissue, encouraging more ease in the body and an improved flow of prana / chi. This style of yoga asks us to take passive poses for longer periods of time to train our bodies and minds to slow down, listen and be more present.
Nick has evolved as a musician from classical piano, through jazz, into world and folk music. He brings years of experience in sacred music both of the West and East, traveling in 2015 and 2016 to Nepal to study Bansuri, six hole flute. Using modern keyboards, guitar, and flute, The soundscapes he creates are often minimalist, using space as a tool for allowing others to enter their own inner music.
