STACEY LOOP

Stacey Loop is a certified yoga therapist and holistic health coach specializing in adapting therapeutic breath, movement, and meditation to an individual’s condition. She is passionate about education and is a lifelong student of the mind/body connection and the potential for optimal wellness.

After years of working in public schools as a Special Education Teacher, her personal journey of holistic healing began when her son was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder. Intrigued by the ancient teachings of yoga and holistic health, she embarked upon an in-depth journey to acquire certifications as a yoga therapist and health coach.

In 15 years, Stacey has taught over 2,500 classes in teacher training, special education topics, therapeutic privates, mentoring, and public classes. She has co presented at the University of Texas’s Social Worker’s Conference in 2017 and 2018 on the topic of “Inner Transformation: A Holistic Approach for Kids with Neurological Issues”. Stacey has co-written curriculum for Yoga Yoga’s 95-hour Children’s Teacher Training and leads teachers in this certification program as well as training in other programs involving therapeutic aspects of yoga, including meditation.

Stacey finds deep satisfaction in being of service to others. Outside of work, she spends time daily in her own yoga and meditation practice. One of her favorite past times is cultivating stillness by connecting to nature, especially by the ocean’s rhythmic waves. Dancing creates true joy and she dances weekly with her father in Parkinson’s Dance classes.

Testimonials:
When I signed up for the Children’s Yoga Teacher Training, all I knew was that I wanted to work with children. Little did I know the joy I would discover within my own self as I journeyed back to finding my inner child! Now I find that I am able to bring that joy into my everyday life, and my relationship with my own children has improved, as I see things with a different perspective.

MICHELE SNYDER

Michele moved to the Austin area in 1997 to attend college, and walked into her first yoga class and immediately fell in love.  As a child, competitive dance is what helped ground her through her adolescent years, and the study of yoga is what has carried her through adulthood and more importantly, becoming a mother of three.  For the past 10 years, Michele has been raising her three children, one of which was diagnosed with Autism.  Her continued study of yoga and experience with teaching teachers, parents, and children of diverse backgrounds has created a strong desire to pass yoga on to the future generation of adults who make an impact on their own and other children.  She believes when you give kids the skills to help them calm their minds and cope with the challenges of life, the whole world wins. She is also passionate about supporting families with specials needs, being an advocate and training others on how to better support this population.  In her teachings, you can expect attention to breathing, mindfulness, calming techniques, and creating a strong sense of self within.
