500 Hour Advanced Studies

Our Advanced Studies program allows you to complete your Yoga Alliance 500-hour (RYT-500) teacher designation by customizing a course of study that aligns with your passions, giving you the opportunity to grow into a uniquely skilled teacher who will stand out in the marketplace.

Half of the 300 hours in the program will come from our Core Courses. Choose between Adaptive Yoga, Advanced Asana, Anatomy & Sequencing for Injury Prevention, The Art of Teaching, and Pranayama & Meditation.

In addition to your three Core Courses, you will choose the remaining 150 hours of your training from a broad selection of electives courses. Every year, we offer specialty programs featuring content exclusive to Yoga Yoga, such as our Yoga Alliance-recognized Prenatal Yoga and Children’s Yoga Teacher Trainings, as well as our unique program The Practice of Food & Yoga: Foundations of Ayurveda, an educational partnership with The Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts. We also offer for 500-hour credit programs from nationally-recognized teachers and leaders in the fields of yoga, anatomy, relaxation, Yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, Jyotish (Vedic astrology), which vary from year to year.

If you are passionate about your students’ well-being, our professional 800-hour program will prepare you for a fulfilling career on the cutting edge of healthcare in America.
