Yogis
and Non-Yogis Wanted for Research Study
Would you like to participate in a research study about yoga and gain
valuable information about your heart health? The Yoga Care Foundation
and UTs Kinesiology Lab are conducting a joint study on yoga
and cardiovascular health. Participants will receive information regarding
their body fat percentage, blood vessel health, and blood pressure.
Participants are required to attend two, two-hour sessions on the
UT main campus and should be ages 40-60 with no current illnesses
or injuries.
The non-yogis needed for this study must not have exercised regularly
within the past 6 months and should be new to yoga. This could be
a great opportunity for your spouse, co-worker or friend who doesnt
practice yoga yet! The experienced yoga participants should have a
minimum of 3 years of yoga practice and currently practice at least
3 days a week.
A suggested donation of $100 to the Yoga Care Foundation is recommended
but not required to participate in the study. For more information,
email heartstudy@yogayoga.com. |
