Ashtanga Yoga: Beyond the "Stars" with Sharon

Ashtanga star classes at Yoga Yoga generally only cover half of the Primary (first) series of Ashtanga. This workshop will take an in-depth exploration of postures in the rest of the sequence. The workshop is for anyone who has an Ashtanga “star” practice and wants to learn the second half and is also for those who have already learned these postures and want to gain a better understanding.

Kundalini and Creativity: Tools for Writers with Martha

In this workshop, we will use the tools of Kundalini yoga to tap into our creativity and help to break through writer’s blocks. Relax with Restorative Yoga with Rebecca

You are welcome to bring any of your own props.

Hatha Flow for Women with Jenn

Discover how building cohesion and strength to support hypermobile joints can bring steadiness and ease into our practice and into our lives. In this workshop we will emphasize the use of the muscle groups around the joints to bring stability to the body and learn how to lengthen the muscles without putting strain on the ligaments and tendons. We will also address the needs of the yin body during the menstrual cycle. This class will be of benefit to any woman who wants to have a stronger, more stable and steady hatha practice.

Kundalini and the Immune System with Harimandir Kaur

In this workshop, we will explore how our immune system can help us recover not only from illness but also feelings of anger, self-defeat and blame. Working through these emotions we can begin to heal. The immune system interacts with the glandular system, central nervous system and our emotional body. We will be experiencing Kriyas or sets of exercises as well as meditation to boost the immune system. Come and join us as we take a journey to create light, energy, and hopefulness. Please wear a head covering for this workshop.

Please join us for a special Hatha workshop taught entirely in Spanish! We will explore a variety of asanas in a well-rounded practice, as well as incorporate meditation, chanting, and breath work. There will time for questions as well. This workshop is open to not only the Spanish speaking community but to any students and teachers looking to explore the beauty of yoga in another language. All levels are welcome!

Ashtanga Yoga: Injury Prevention and Modifications with Rachel

In this workshop, we will investigate the origins of yoga-related injuries. We will begin to learn to work with pre-existing injuries and avoid common postural pitfalls in this workshop designed for beginner to advanced Ashtanga students. We will learn to work with these issues as opposed to against them and discuss how to modify behaviors and attitudes for a safer experience in led classes or at home.

Pure Hip Openers with Annick

The hips are fundamental to all postures, whether sitting, standing, or lying down. In this workshop, you will learn the techniques to gently stretch and safely open the hips to increase flexibility and strength. Learn how to prevent injury and move deeper into your yoga practice!
