Sunday, Nov 1

Yoga improves the health of the neck by relaxing muscle tension, improving posture and body awareness, strengthening musculature, and reducing stress and tension. Join Mark Uridel as he explores strategies to keep the neck healthy through the integrated practice of posture, breath, muscular awareness, and sound. He will expertly interweave these elements so that practitioners have a clear understanding of the direct relationship between these elements and the health of the neck, shoulders, and upper back.

Kundalini Yoga for Emotional Healing with Harinder
Sunday, Nov 8

We often look outside ourselves for solutions when we are in pain. Emotional pain can engender feelings of isolation and separation. Yoga is the art of merging with one's Self by going inside and becoming aware that we have everything we need moment to moment. In this workshop we will primarily use the technologies of pranayama and meditation to heal our emotions. We'll experience the art of love and appreciation and tap into the joy of our souls.

Slow Flow: An Exploration of Our Inner Landscape with Chris
Sunday, Nov 15
12:00 pm
- 2:30 pm Yoga Yoga Northwest
Patanjali's Yoga Sutras defines pratyahara as the state and practice of encouraging the senses to draw within, promoting a continuous inward flow of consciousness. This quality or attitude of pratyahara transforms the vigorous physical practice of Hatha Flow into an internalized moving meditation. This rhythmic, soothing flow class will begin with music and gradually move toward silence and darkness, allowing you to go deeper and take your practice inward. Explore your practice on a more sublime, subtle level. Hatha Flow experience required.
