Backbends and Heart Openers with Annick

This energizing workshop will provide the tools to go deeper into more advanced backbends by incorporating principles of alignment, breath, and awareness. We will bring specific focus to shoulder alignment and the freedom of the lower back. A thorough series of postures will bring vitality to the spine, create space for the abdominal organs, and encourage more efficient breathing. Experience in Hatha Yoga is required for this intermediate asana workshop.

Kundalini Yoga for Healing Addictions with Harimandir

We will use ancient meditations, exercises, and breathing techniques to help the body and mind overcome addictions and compulsions. Using Props to Deepen Your Practice with Anne

Blankets, bolsters, blocks, belts, and even chairs.  We have all seen and used these props in yoga classes.  In this workshop, we will learn how  to use  different types of props to help achieve greater  depth and insight about your practice.   You can bring this knowledge with you to your classes or to your home practice. We will do a basic standing pose sequence and end with an inversion sequence.  Some experience in Hatha is recommended.

Anusara Yoga for Beginners with Mandy

Cultivating Prana with Sandra

This workshop will explore Prana, or the ever present life force. We will learn about the vayus, or winds, in the body and begin to access them through asana and meditation. The workshop will consist of a flow practice that addresses all the vayus as well as an exercise to discover which aspect may be deficient in the student.
