Enjoy your meals in a huge round cabana built with marble floors and white limestone walls. Through its windows you have an amazing view of the coastline with the turquoise Caribbean Sea and the white sand.
The restaurant serves vegetarian and fresh seafood fare buffet style, all you care to eat. The fresh and delicious meals are often the highlight of the day!
Here are some of the many menu items you will enjoy:
Breakfast always features a wide range of fresh tropical fruits in season. Great coffee and juices accompany your choice of French toast, waffles or pancakes, cereal or granola, and a wide range of omelets and fresh egg dishes.
Lunch features guacamole, nachos, shrimp cocktail, and a huge salad selection such as a Roquefort Cheese and Citrus Salad, a Sun Dried Tomatoes & Goat Cheese Salad (escarole and arugula tossed with sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese, and a balsamic vinaigrette), the Spicy Thai Noodle Salad (Thai noodle salad with seafood and a spicy sauce), and a Chef's Caesar Salad (romaine lettuce and parmesan fritters).
Lunch also includes a soup of the day and a range of sandwiches on fresh baked bread served with potato, sweet potato, & beet chips, such as the Vegetarian (grilled zucchini, eggplant, carrot, avocado, lettuce, and tomato with a Dijon mustard), Portobello Mushroom & Mozzarella Burger, a Roasted Eggplant and Feta Sandwich (grilled eggplant, bell pepper, and red onions with feta cheese and pesto aioli), or a Grilled Fish Filet Sandwich (achiote marinated filet with cilantro aioli, tomato, and onion).
There is usually a seafood option for lunch as well, such as Fish Tacos, Shrimp Brochettes and a Fresh Fish Filet of your choice, along with rice dishes like Indian Rice (brown rice with delicate curried vegetables).
Dinner can start off with guacamole, chilaquiles, Shrimp Ceviche, stuffed Avocado and Quesadillas. The salads and vegetable dishes include a Maya Tulum Salad (lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, and white chesses served with a light vinaigrette), Avocado Salad (tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, cilantro, and garnished with garlic toast), and Grilled Vegetables (grilled eggplant, portabella, zucchini, bell pepper, and chaya with brown rice).
A pasta dish might be the Pasta Putanesca (spaghetti with a classic sauce made with tomato, mushrooms, chopped nuts, parsley, garlic, capers, and olives) or the Pasta Fisherman Style (spaghetti with a tomato sauce garnished with mushrooms, carrots, and shrimp).
Enjoy seafood fresh the sea such as Fish Filet Mayan Style (fish wrapped in a banana leaf with a spicy tomato/pepper sauce) or Shrimp Maya Tulum (breaded shrimp sprinkled with coconut) among others, and accompany your vegetarian or seafood entrée with an assortment of rice dishes.
Desserts are always included, with native chocolate, fruits and pastries making an appearance.
