Integrate
mind and body. . .
Hatha
Yoga is an ancient practice of transformative self-realization through
integrating mindful and challenging physical postures with breathing
practices, concentration, and meditation.
Classical
Hatha Yoga incorporates the physical discipline and emphasis on yoga
postures, known as asanas, with practices to address our mental, emotional,
and spiritual well being. Conscious breathing techniques, known as pranayama,
rejuvenate the body and the mind of the practitioner. Concentration
and meditation practices, known as Dharana and Dhyana cultivate even-mindedness,
allowing one to cultivate mental and spiritual well-being.
