Advanced
Training for Kundalini Yoga Teachers
Personal Transformation and 500-hour RYT recognition
Graduates of a 200-hour
KRI approved Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training may pursue recognition as
a a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance in one of two
ways: complete 300 hours of Advanced Studies courses
through an approved 500-hour Registered Yoga School or complete the five
KRI Level 2 Modules.
Complete
300 hours of Advanced Studies courses
You may complete your 300 hours of Advanced Studies courses at your own
pace. These courses may include one or more of the Kundalini Level 2 modules.
This typically takes at least one year. New
Advanced Studies courses are offered every year and courses may vary from
year to year.
In addition to these
course requirements, Yoga Alliance requires teachers to have 100-hours
of classroom teaching experience in order to apply for 500-hour Registered
Yoga Teacher status (RYT-500).
KRI Level 2 Certification
Graduates
of a 200-hour KRI approved Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training may pursue Level
2 Certification through KRI by taking the following Advanced Studies courses:
- Vitality and Stress
- Mind and Meditation
- Conscious Communication
- Authentic Relationships
- Lifecycles and
Lifestyles
Completion of
all five courses qualifies you for recognition as a Kundalini Yoga
Practitioner and fulfills the core course requirements for becoming
a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance.
These courses
are about the development and deepening of your own core capacities,
character and consciousness. The course manuals and DVD lectures with
meditations by Yogi Bhajan communicate a new level of information,
techniques and themes. The essence of the Level 2 courses is about
establishing your ability to use your applied mind, applied intelligence
and applied awareness to create a deep personal transformation.
The Level 2 courses
may be taken in any order and at your own pace. Yoga Yoga offers one Level
2 course every year.
