Transformation and 500-hour RYT recognition
Advanced Studies
courses are open to yoga teachers who wish to expand their knowledge
and personal practice, acquire training in specialized areas of
yoga instruction, and develop their teaching and professional skills.
These courses may be taken for personal enrichment or career enhancement
and may be used to fulfill the requirements for recognition as a
500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) by the Yoga Alliance
organization of teachers and yoga schools.
For students
and teachers who wish to explore the sister sciences of yoga, as
well as the Vedic tradition, there are enrichment courses in Ayurveda,
Jyotish (Vedic Astrology), and Sanskrit.
Courses are
taught by 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teachers and national guest teachers.
