While Selena explored and experimented with a variety of yoga traditions throughout the '90s, it wasn't until 2000 that she decided to commit to a daily practice in the Ashtanga Vinyasa System.
Selena is a student of Nancy Gilgoff but has studied with many amazing teachers in the Ashtanga and Vinyasa traditions including David Swenson, Matthew Sweeney and Srivatsa Ramaswami. She believes yoga brings healing and creates an energetic body, mind and spirit when practiced appropriately for each individual.
She hopes to share the teachings to inspire a joyful lifelong practice and encourage consistency, curiosity and fun on the mat. In addition, Selena loves to share the benefits of yoga with perinatal women and has completed pre and postnatal yoga studies with Iyengar teacher Leslie Lytle.
