Mollie came to yoga in 2001 after suffering injuries from a car accident. She attended two classes a week for several months, one Hatha and one Kundalini, and believes that the combination of the two practices enabled her quick recovery, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Moved by the feeling of safety provided by and the healing spirit of her first teacher, Mollie decided that she wanted to inspire others along the path of yoga and offer the same nurturing experience she had received.

Mollie, a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, graduated from Yoga Yoga Teacher Training in 2006, and has been teaching full time ever since. She became certified to teach Ananda Marga meditation in 2007 with Dada Madhuvidyananda and Didi Ananda Shubhashisa, who greatly inspire her meditation practice. Her asana practice is greatly inspired by her teachers Donna Farhi, Sean Corn, David Swenson and Shelley Washington.

Mollie's classes offer a fun, safe, and laid-back atmosphere suitable for students to begin fine-tuning their relationship and awareness of the True Self. There is always a strong emphasis on creating space within the body and mind to allow for a greater opening to this grace. Mollie is most influenced by the teachings of Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, which are based upon classical Tantric Yoga philosophy, and of Ayurveda, a sister sciences of yoga.

As an advocate for spiritual and ecological consciousness and an active supporter and practitioner of permaculture, Mollie is deeply involved with local and international non-profit work that focuses on children, community, and sustainability.
