Beth L. was born and raised in Austin. She likes to sing, dance, do karaoke (she is a three-time champion), ride her bike and jog with her dog, Bruce Banner. Her favorite local hangout is Barton Springs and one day she would like to travel to India.
Her first yoga class at Yoga Yoga North was with Heather, and the experience inspired her to pursue massage and then finally, teaching yoga. Beth L. became a licensed massage therapist in 2000, then Hatha certified through Yoga Yoga Teacher Training in 2006, and she became a certified teacher in Kundalini in 2010. Currently she is in Level 2 Yoga Yoga Teacher Training for Kundalini and is completing her 500-hour advanced training in Hatha.
Beth L. loves that yoga is an opportunity to explore the relationship between breath and body. "After high school, I was lost and found a home not only within Yoga Yoga, but in my practice," she says.
Students taking her class should expect to have fun with challenging sequences balanced by sweet relaxation.
