When practiced with attention and intention, the simple movements of the Surya Namaskara contain all of the treasures of yoga. Through careful study of ujjayi breathing, the bandhas (energetic seals), and driste (intentional gaze), we will develop and refine our practice of the Surya Namaskara to facilitate the union of mind, breath, and body that defines the practice of yoga.
A variety of variations on the Surya Namaskara will be presented. All levels of practitioners are welcome to attend.
