We work very hard in our lives, and while we may sleep, we rarely take time to rest. Restorative yoga poses help us learn to relax and rest deeply and completely. During this relaxation, all the organ systems of the body are benefited, and a few of the measurable results are the reduction of blood pressure, serum triglycerides and blood sugar levels in the blood, the increase of the “good cholesterol” levels, as well as improvement in digestion, fertility, elimination, the reduction of muscle tension, insomnia and generalized fatigue.

Friday, October 11, 2013 to Sunday, October 13, 2013

Learning how to connect more fully with others begins with learning to connect more fully with ourselves. This weekend retreat will provide the opportunity for both through yoga, collaboration and communion. We’ll explore ways to become more present in our relationships with others by becoming more present in our relationship with ourselves. The morning will begin with a centering hatha flow class and we will end the days with gentle partner yoga and Thai yoga massage.

This retreat includes yoga, lodging and delicious, healthy vegetarian meals.
