Join Jessica Goulding for a weekend exploring the unique principles, language and approach of Anusara yoga. The highest intention of practicing Anusara yoga is to align with the Divine through the Universal Principles of Alignment™.
These principles address not only the physical alignment of your yoga poses, but also encourage a remembrance of our spiritual purpose and highest intention of practicing hatha yoga, which includes reconnecting with our innate Goodness and expressing ourselves from that Divine place. Unique to Anusara yoga are the five Universal Principles of Alignment. Learn each principle and apply them to your yoga poses to access, feel and enjoy the poses in a way you never knew you could! This class is open to every level of yoga practitioner, and will remind even the seasoned practitioner how to reconnect with the basics.
Within the graceful alignment principles of Anusara yoga are a series of energetic loops throughout the body. Understanding these loops will assist you in bringing your posture into a more refined alignment for a dynamic, healthy expression of your own divine nature. These principles and loops are applicable not just to asana, but also to standing, walking, dancing, running, biking, singing, and living in a happier body.
