This is an innovative workshop of 2 powerful healing systems that have stood the test of time!
Both Qigong from China and Yoga from India build and regulate energy in your body. This workshop will give you a deeper understanding of the similarities and differences of these 2 ancient systems. You will gain insights as to your own healing abilities and practice experience to take home to further enhance your life force.
You will be led through a short slide presentation to compare and contrast Qigong and Yoga. An hour and 15 min. practice of qigong mixed with yoga asanas is fun, energizing and calming. Guided meditation will conclude the class in savasana.

Gayl Hubatch, OMD, L.Ac. AOBTA®-CI, LMT, is a doctor of Chinese Medicine for 25 years. Dr. Hubatch teaches Qigong and Tai Chi nationally and locally in Austin, TX. She is a graduate of IIQTC (Institute for integral Qigong and Tai chi) and has recently returned from a study in China with Daoist master Zhou Jin Bo. As a long time yoga practitioner and graduate of Prajna Yoga, Gayl is excited to share her style of qigong and yoga combined.
Gayl also maintains a clinical practice in acupuncture, herbal medicine, acupressure and qigong in Austin, TX. She is, a diplomat through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture (NCCA) and is certified to teach yoga, Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure, a CE provider for massage therapists and avatar master.
Dr. Hubatch is the author of Fabric of the Soul, 8 Extraordinary Vessels.
