at Yoga Yoga 360
The Thai culture has long used a fusion of yoga and massage as a traditional healing therapy. The principles of Thai Yoga Massage draw from the traditions of Yoga, Ayurveda and the Buddhism. Sometimes called “Lazy Man’s Yoga”, receiving Thai massage is like a Yoga practice without having to exert any effort. The effect is both deeply relaxing and energizing.
Jenn Wooten studied Thai Yoga Massage extensively while living in Thailand with her husband in 2004. She has trained in both the Northern style and the Wat Po style of traditional Thai Massage and has since adopted Thai massage as a therapeutic tool. Her academic background in anatomy and physiology inform her understanding of the benefits of this ancient art.
