No previous musical training or experience with the gong is required to take this workshop. Open to everyone.
The gong training is limited to 24 participants, so please sign up early!
Experience the unique sounds of an array of gongs played in concert by expert Kundalini Yoga teachers. We will start with an introduction to the sounds of the different gongs and the transformational effects you may expect from each one. A yoga set will prepare you to enter a deep relaxation for a 45-minute journey into the sounds of several gongs playing.
12:30-5:30 pm each day
In this training, you will learn how to play the gong and explore its uses in meditation, therapy, and relaxation. We'll have several gongs to choose from and everyone will have an opportunity to play the gong and experience first-hand the techniques discussed in class. This class is excellent for teachers wanting to integrate the gong into their classes or anyone interested in learning more about this powerful and transformational instrument.
You will have plenty of time to practice and experiment with your new skills!
If you have your own gong, you are encouraged to bring it for your own dedicated use. We will also have a wide range of gongs available for everyone to enjoy and play.
No previous musical training or experience with the gong is required to take this workshop. Open to everyone. This class limited to 24 participants, please sign up early!
