What
is Children's Yoga?
Children's
Yoga classes include exercises, meditation, game playing, and story
telling to make yoga come to life. These classes are an excellent way
to create balance, focus, and strength in a safe learning environment.
Our children's classes promote an atmosphere of loving kindness between
the children. Click here to see
the Fall 2007 Children's Yoga schedule.
Children's
Yoga classes are $7 each or $35 for an Unlimited Pass. We offer classes
for 5 to 8 year olds and Parent & Child Yoga

Parent
and Child Yoga Classes
Do
you have a child at home during the day? Come to a yoga class especially
for parents with children! Children 2 to 4 years old are welcome to come
to our Parent and Child Yoga class. You and your child will practice simple
yoga exercises together. This is a wonderful way to spend an hour with your
child and also learn some yoga!
You
can attend the Parent and Child class as a regular class on your Yoga
Yoga class pass or simply pay for individual classes. Children are FREE
when accompanied by their parent or guardian.

Guidelines
for Parents:
- Parents
need to remain with their children until the Yoga instructor takes the
children into the practice room. Parents must also be in the lobby to
pick up their children when class lets out so that no child is left
unattended.
- Parents
should be available in the lobby or close by on cell phone in case of
emergency or other situations needing their attention. Please make sure
that Yoga Yoga has your most current contact information on file.
- Parents
are invited to share in the first ten minutes of yoga class with their
children. After that time we ask that you quietly leave the room and
allow the class to continue with children only.
- Classes
are designed for children who can participate successfully in group
activities. Our classes have one teacher with up to 15 children. Children
needing a smaller or more supervised setting will better benefit from
private instruction. Please speak to the front desk staff about setting
up private instruction for your child if this is the case.
