Kepner
Executive Director of IAYT
|
What
is the value of evidenced based yoga therapy and why do
we need it?
In a presentation given by John Kepner, Executive Director
of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT),
Kepner explores the controversies around evidenced based
yoga therapy and outlines what is and isn't being done
and why. He notes the lack of private funding for yoga
research ("You can't patent yoga," he gives
as a reason) and what IAYT, as well as the National Institutes
of Health, are doing to support yoga research.
