Yoga at Work Student Feature

Yoga Yoga at Work student AdrianeMeet Adriane. Her company, UT Medical Branch Office of Regional Medical Education, has a weekly lunchtime yoga class through our Yoga at Work program right in their office. Well, not right there at the desk, but close enough.

Yoga Yoga: Why did you decide to bring yoga to work?

Adriane: We have office jobs that require us to work on a computer all day long. We were interested in learning ways to stretch and exercise throughout the work day in order to feel better.

YY: What do you like about having yoga at work?

Adriane: By eliminating the travel factor, you can spend your entire lunch hour practicing yoga. There is no hassle and you are able to truly take a break, making it easier to tackle the second half of your day.

Our New Fall Schedule

Fall TreeBeginning September 2nd we are adding 19 new classes between our four locations. A Yoga Yoga class pass is good at every studio, so you can sample as many different classes and teachers as you like.

New Yoga and Meditation Classes!

Our new Yoga & Meditation classes are a great way to go beyond the basics of yoga. All levels of yoga students can enjoy these small classes, which integrate yoga postures and conscious breathing, as well as techniques for relaxation and concentration.

Our Kundalini & Meditation class is designed to create a particular meditation experience -- first time students, come prepared to take a journey! Hatha & Meditation classes will include a mindful physical workout, followed by meditation instruction and practice.

We hope you'll try out one of these Yoga & Meditation classes this fall!

Hatha & Meditation
Northwest, Fridays at 10:30 with Sheila
South, Tuesdays at 6pm with Prema
South, Thursdays at 6pm with Sadani
