In this transformative training, you will become sincere practitioners of yoga and learn to embrace your life as the essential tool to your own awakening, and as a means to help facilitate the awakening of others.

Beloved teachers Jenn Wooten and Angie Knight have created a unique approach to the art of teaching that will enable you to share the practice of yoga with an authentic voice and heart. In this 200-hour teacher training program, they will offer what they have learned in their 22 collective years of teaching: from the basics of alignment and sequencing, to the deeper work of caring for oneself in order to learn how to care for others.

A Safe and Supportive Community

Jenn and Angie’s close personal relationship and extensive experience in sharing the teacher’s seat give them a unique ability to hold a space in which strong, supportive community can develop between students. Through the course of your training, you will benefit from personal support from your guides, as well as community support through life transitions. Together, you and your fellow students will create a safe and non-judgmental environment in which all can heal and grow.


Students should be at least 18 years old, and have a high school degree or its equivalent, as well as have a minimum of two years of yoga practice. (Or by permission of teacher.) Students must also complete a separate application process.

This training is limited to 24 students.



  • Teach Hatha and Hatha Flow yoga classes in multiple public environments.

  • Offer yoga to specialized populations in conjunction with your own healing modality.

Register for 500-hour Advanced Courses and specialize in a variety of styles including Yin, Restorative, Prenatal, Children, Vinyasa, and more.


Starts September 16, 2017. All classes are held at the Westgate location.
Classes meet every Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm.

This training also includes three intensive weekends, during which classes meet Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm - 6:00pm. The dates and locations of these trainings are:

Jenn has been teaching and living yoga since 2004. Her educational background is in physiology and neurobiology, and her teaching style focuses on grounding and embodying through asana, nervous system regulation, and moving from stress and trauma through to resilience. Her gifts as a teacher and guide are her deep compassion, as well as her ability to connect somatically and emotionally with her students to help them attune to the wisdom of their own bodies.

For over 20 years, Jenn has delved deeply into numerous yoga lineages, philosophies, and therapeutic modalities. She has taken thousands of hours of advanced training in Ashtanga Yoga, Anusara Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage, Touch Skills for Somatic Experiencing Therapists and Trauma Informed Yoga. Jenn is deeply grateful for all of the teachers that have contributed to her path. She is the co-teacher of the Waking Yoga Teacher Training and The Art of Holding Space Mentorship Program with Angie Knight. Guiding students in how to practice yoga as a pathway for embodiment, healing and awakening is the core of her teaching.


Angie Knight_one Yoga Angie Knight has studied yoga, shamanism, and other healing arts for over 16 years. She has taught thousands of public and private yoga classes and leads workshops, mentorships, trainings and retreats, both nationally and internationally.  She has studied various yoga lineages, but her main teacher has been her own practice, personal experience and life itself.  She considers herself a student of life and has learned to embrace what is happening in the moment as the ultimate guide to awakened living.  Her teaching is loving, compassionate, and empowering and she teaches from a place of connection rather than authority.

For years, she has coached and supported others in transforming their pain into power, trusting their own inner guidance, and living an authentic life.  Angie has spent 10 years developing her own unique way of teaching yoga and holding space for others.  She has had the honor of learning from hundreds of different teachers in her 17 years of yoga practice.  Her teaching background is a mixture of Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Shamanic/Energy Healing.  Angie’s skill lies in combining yoga and healing to facilitate transformation in her students, helping them remember their inherent wholeness and discover what makes them come alive.


Amanda Green Amanda took her first yoga class in 2001 and has been practicing ever since. She met her teacher and mentor, Chase Bossart, in 2011 and her yoga study expanded to embrace the broader teachings of yoga including Patañjali’s Yoga Sūtras, prāṇāyāma, meditation and vedic chant and has specialized training in the practical application of the tools of yoga as therapy in the tradition of T.K.V. Desikachar. Amanda teaches the sūtras with clear language, deep listening, and a sense of humor. She candidly relates yogic concepts to her life experiences as a mom, partner, teacher, artist, and blogger and she encourages her students to do the same. In this way, yoga practice becomes a deeply personal journey and a means to live a fulfilling and purposeful life.

Amanda has over 15 years of personal yoga practice, 2,000+ teaching hours and 1,300 hours of yoga training. Amanda’s teaching is geared towards one-on-one, individualized practices with a therapeutic emphasis. She has specialized training in yoga as therapy and completes the YATNA yoga therapy certification program in 2017.


Sheila Singh Sheila's formal studies began with engineering, yet her life calling led Sheila to delve into the science of the mind, and the mysteries and wisdom of the heart and Being. Yoga training was the catalyst for immersing in the practice of meditation, study of nondual philosophy and living life wholeheartedly. With many teachers and guides along the way, yoga and meditation have helped her to meet life with widening acceptance, compassion, curiosity and deepening faith. Weaved together, these methods and teachings are a transformative tool that can uncover the practitioner’s inner wisdom, wholeness and underlying ease of Being. It gives Sheila great joy to be able to share with others. Though often taking root on the cushion, the heart of her practice arises amidst the day, helping Sheila to meet the challenges and pleasures of life and family
