Yogi
Bhajan Says:
"Your very own soul is your soulmate!"
Yogi Bhajan, the master of Kundalini Yoga, brought the teachings of
this ancient sacred science to America in 1969. He taught here for 35
years until his passing in 2004.
|
|
You may have noticed that many of the Kundalini Yoga teachers (and
students) have a spiritual name in addition to their birth name.
What's up with that?
For thousands of years, it has been a common practice in the
yoga tradition to receive a name that reminds you of your
spiritual destiny, why you have chosen to be in this world.
Often the name was given by your teacher, a spiritual master,
or even the family astrologer who used your time of birth
to gain knowledge of your eternal nature.
A spiritual name is a vibration, a frequency, and your own
personal mantra for self-discovery and elevation. Even if
you never use the name in your daily life, it gives you an
insight into yourself.
For over 30 years, Yogi Bhajan gave spiritual names to thousands
of Kundalini Yoga students worldwide. Now you can get your
own spiritual name on-line, regardless if you practice Kundalini
Yoga or not.

Discover
Your Soul!
Video with Yogi Bhajan
|
In this lecture, Yogi Bhajan talks about meditation as a tool for mental
clarity. Instead of looking for your "soul mate" he says that
when you connect to your own soul, then you understand that "Your
very own soul is your soul mate." He also talks about the problem
of information overload in the computer age and how to deal with it.
