Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at The Synergy Studio - San Antonio, Texas

In our Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, you will deepen your personal practice, master advanced poses, explore yoga beyond asana, and gain the classroom skills needed to teach this vigorous, flowing form of yoga. You will study yogic philosophy and learn the advanced practices of pranayama (breathing practices) and meditation, which provide a foundation for deeper personal growth.   • An in-depth study of yoga asana, including: Sanskrit names, proper alignment, and benefits

  • Foundations of both Western and yogic anatomy

  • Lectures on yogic philosophy and literature

  • Teaching practices to build confidence and develop your authentic voice

  • Effective language and classroom management skills

  • Instruction in safe and sustainable Vinyasa transitions

  • Principles of thematic sequencing to create dynamic, fun and engaging yoga classes

  • Anatomical principles applied to safe and effective hands-on adjustments

  • Methodologies to effectively assess the needs of individual students

  • Ethics and business principles to help you build your career as a yoga teacher

  • Learn how to teach Hatha Flow and Vinyasa yoga classes to the public

  • Regularly practice such dynamic styles of yoga as Hatha Flow, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga

  • Deepen and expand your own vinyasa practice

  • Build strength, stamina, agility, and flexibility

  • Learn advanced poses, such as inversions and arms balances

Students should be at least 18 years old, and have a high school degree or its equivalent.

After Completing this 200 hour training, you can:

  • Become a nationally Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance®

  • Teach Hatha Flow and Vinyasa yoga classes in a variety of environments, such as yoga studios, gyms or corporate settings

  • Further your studies in the Ashtanga Yoga lineage

  • Register for 500-hour Advanced Courses

Your Lead teacher: Emily Liles


Emily is a graduate of Yoga Yoga’s 200 and 500 hour Hatha Teacher Training and is currently a Resident in the Yoga Therapy Program.  She also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin.  Her teachings draw from studies in Pranayama, meditation, alignment-based Asana, Sanskrit, and philosophy.  In her classes you can expect to explore optimal alignment and gain deeper understanding of the traditional teachings of the Krishnamacharya Lineage.

Continuously a student herself, Emily is always furthering her studies in Yoga, Ayurveda, and Anatomy.  Through her teaching, Emily hopes to inspire others to explore their own inner terrain, have fun, and gain tools to better their lives and the lives around them.  Emily also enjoys studying plants, reading books, and creating art.


This course meets over 15 weekends at The Synergy Studio, located at 300 East Grayson Street Ste. 100, San Antonio, TX. Synergy Studio is educating and motivating people from San Antonio as well as travelers from all over the United States.

Each weekend meets on Saturday and Sunday, from 11:00am - 5:00pm each day, with a 30-minute lunch break.
